Tuinland, a garden center with four stores in Northern Netherlands, envisioned bringing their unique in-store experience and seasonal assortment online. Together with Guapa, they set out to quickly develop an inspiring and immersive webshop.
A strategic and collaborative development process resulted in the launch of a Magento 2 webshop. The focus was on visually and functionally translating Tuinland's physical store experience into the digital world, emphasizing inspiration and seasonal offerings.
Making the webshop feel like a garden center again
Together with Guapa, Tuinland faced the challenge of creating a webshop in a relatively short time, where inspiration and experience would be the top priorities. During a joint concept phase, Tuinland's short- and long-term objectives were thoroughly discussed and mapped out, and these were then fully developed both visually and functionally during the design phase to shape the entire digital landscape.
Inspiration & experience
Just as in the physical stores, Tuinland aimed to make the online experience just as immersive. By focusing more on inspiration, experience should take a more central role on the new website. The story of Tuinland plays a crucial part in this.
